i painted this for my nephew's mini bike .

they took it home and my brother felt he should touch
it up. ?????? SOOOOOO ANYWAY .....

i had to repaint it ... i like the first paint job better .
if your wounding . i like the mist of green and were the flames start
alot better .

i found this chalk board in the trash , there pretty fun to paint .
you really have no room for
error . it's a full color vs outline cock fight . IT'S NOT UNFINISHED i planed it like that .

some were on it but i haven't found the right spot for it .

to this . i got amp on markers this week and felt like doing a full
rendering ..

i hit up the hight lights change the sky , and added a few details
just little bit of work can make all the difference in a painting .

here i fixed up the bottle to make more stubby like a real 40oz
and i added the boom box .

the 40oz looks like a 22oz and i wasn't sure what to put in the back ground
building straight to the bottom would be boring

just figuring it out

to respond to the my status . in return they had to repost the same status and so on and so on .
it's called pay it forward . theses are the post cards i made for my friends that responded to that message .

i grabbed some blanks from the wear house .
the plan was to paint them up and put them up on ebay ,
a see what i get . i don't really now how to work e bay to well , so i only put the
cheech wizard one up . it went for 50 bucks . i could have gotten more
if i just sold it without ebay.
it ended up being a christmas present to a kid that wrote me after christmas and was very happy .
so that always make me feel appreciated .

i gave this one to my nephew for christmas

this went to shane one of my team riders

this one ended up as a raffle prize at some bar

i know i can unload the pink bunny for a few bucks

pretty cool i went with my friend mike lent to PA so he could get a drawing of mine tattoo
on his arm . after it was done i was bummed because it came out so good i wanted the same one ..
legend Ken Sigafoos pro for brand x skateboards back in the 80's did the tattoo.
which made me double stoked , and he didn't change a thing , thats a first for any of the tattoo artist i've even
had tatting some of my work for some one ..

Grown up i was surrounded by graffiti , i started doing it around the age of 13 . Kinder around the time
i started taking riding my skateboard a little serious . i wanted to learn tricks and how to wright on walls .
thats it . i can honestly say i wasn't that good at either . i was always just good enough not to be a poser or a toy .
92/94 . What can i say for myself i was a pretty big mess . my drinking really got out of hand at this time .
and i kinder put skating on the back burner . i rather go to parties and drink with people that weren't even my friends .
then hang out with my friends that i felt they didn't even liked me . i pretty much hated myself . to this day i still self loth .
but am trying a lot harder theses days not to be like that and it's really hard . it effect everything including my head and what comes out of it , your about to look at some of my graffiti from the early nineties and i'll be the first to say " IT SUCKS "

My friend Johnny A is about to reopening and old watering hole that i used to
beat the crap out of my liver in when i was younger . Inside the bar is this old piano

Johnny asked me to paint it up and make it look pretty .

So i did the best i could .. I never painted anything like this and this is my first shot at it .
I really like how it came out , Wasn't to sure about the color's but they really worked well
for what it ended up looking like ...

Johnny and his wife wanted me to as they said it to me " PHEO IT UP ! " so
i took my rabbit heads i like doing so much and rock the top 3 panels .

You can only really see the rabbit head pattern if you look at it in the right light .
It was done this way on purpose .

i was doing some freelance for combat circa. an they
were cool at first . they hooked me up nicely with some shoes and a nice check
for the work i've done previously for them.
later on they asked me to do some more
t-shirt design for there pro's . it took me a few weeks.
i got it all ready for them to print
and then they pulled the plug on me . i got nothing for my efforts not even a pair of sneakers.
last i herd they were in there art depmant copying my drawings trying to make something from them.
why can't people just pay me and stop the biting . i never ask
for a lot of money just the standard of what every one eles makes ?

"lizard king" aka mike plum , when i was asked to do theses shirts design.
i asked each team member what they thought would be funny
about each other , well a little fact i didn't know about
lizard was that he was at the top of the bmx game in his heyday
and likes to talk about his glory days of racing , so thats why
the lizard is on a bmx bike and i gave him the font that every
metal hair bag in hight school , knew how to draw on there
trapper keepers . just keeping it dirty son ! showing plum
some passion pheo style.

HE's A WEIRD DUDE and what's the weirdest animal
in the woods ? " the dam platypus" and franks on anit hero
and there pretty gay about hanging in the woods with each other
on dark nights drinking playing with there wizard staffs & passing out.

these are painting i sold to my friend billy winters .
funny thing is i never got the money. it kinds of sucks since theses are the only
crappy pictures i have of them

this one went to my friend john. i never received the money for it.
he might have gotten it confuse with the gift painting i gave him title "de la pheo" .
he also has the "ass hat " painting .. i really don't liked that i don't even have a photo
of it or other paintings that i've done that have disappeared ..

this painting i left at my old house . only because i had no room for it
i really liked it and i really wanted to go back in a do some more details.
maybe one day soon i'll go grab it ..

this is the DEVIL BOARD for #9 skateboards . i think
this is the first board i did for chapmen . i remember
gregg telling me that it out sold all the other nine decks
that made me feel pretty good inside , i know i could
draw this better , but it is what it is !...

the KEVIN CANDELA EVIL BUTTERFLY ..
i like this board from spay fade behind
the print and the upside down wings.
the first run we got to use all 8 screens
to print it . it took to long , i was willing to take
the time to make it look nice , but i understand
why we cut it down to 4 colors, we mix the ink
in the screen and it look good anyway on all the later
runs of this board ..

Steve at maestro really like this doodle i had in one of my books
and asked if he could used it , i didn't even ask for anything for it
just a board . i like it a lot more after he added the "i will fucking kill you " to it

this was for a short lived company called
BUTTER skateboards .i forget how i hooked up
with these guys . they half ass my original drawings.
droped the highlight colors & took out all the sketcy line work
that made this board look creepy ,
but it was when i was jobless and they paid
pretty good so there you have it ..

FISH BAIT
one of thing working for #9
was the fact that all the boards were painted
individually . which made every board different
from the next's . in the worm squiggles while screening
we would all take turns writhing something stupid , this one
was just a normal one , sorry no secret message .
still my favorites board , maybe because it so stupid and simple ..

FLOWER BOARD
i didn't really like the girl on this board at all.
her hands are too skinny and her boobs are too round
an she has no ass . just a really bad drawing . the guys AT
BUTTER skateboards liked it & i needed the money . so
i sold it to them ,, my friend Liz got it tattooed on her lower back
and the tattoo artist made it look 100 times better .
i have to have her take her shirt off for me so i can get a picture .

bodega MOUSE deck
oscar wanted a team deck with everyones name on it .
me and A layed this out one night .
and he actually had it screened . instead of painting it
in his back yard

FRANK GERWER
theres a pictuer of me in a moo moo and frank laughing at
me , so when it came time to draw this graphic
me and frank got rally wasted and made this retarded board . i
am the bear & he's the squirrel .. we went to the trade show
when this came out , people looked at it and didn't get it . but still
laughs and smiles were made ,, touch down ! it did it's job

one year i painted a few boards for Christmas presents .
because i was broke .. am still broke , what can u do

this was a good isssue it was written up in thrasher mag in there zine review

this is the danzine rabbit which also became the logo for
hazel skateboards and the first
board graphics for hazel

this is the crazy pheo tee . for those that don't know about smoking dust
you wouldn't know or would think this shirt was cool.
but for the people that do know you just have to see there eyes light up
then flowed by a
shit eating grin. they were very limited and
theres only 3 i know of left . two of which i own

this book was all done but never lay out right , it will be a later post maybe after i get all 7 issues up
